E-invoicing in France

The reform started on 1 September 2026.

Since that date, all businesses concerned must be able to receive electronic invoices. Large companies and mid-caps must also issue them; issuance becomes mandatory for SMEs, small businesses and micro-enterprises on 1 September 2027.
